WE-Tech 5.1 Dragon Type B Gas Blowback Pistol – Black

The WE-Tech 5.1 Dragon Type B is a Hi-Capa-style gas blowback airsoft pistol designed for players who want distinctive ported styling, fast slide cycling, and a substantial full-metal feel. Its ported Dragon slide gives the pistol an aggressive competition-inspired appearance in the standard 5.1 profile for controlled target acquisition.

Built around a Hi-Capa gas blowback architecture, this pistol combines semi-automatic operation, an adjustable hop-up system, an integrated lower accessory rail, and a green gas or propane power source. It is suitable for lawful airsoft skirmishes, target practice where permitted, training applications, competition-style setups, and collection display.

The 5.1 design bridges the visual and handling characteristics of a traditional sidearm and a compact CQB-oriented platform. Performance will vary according to temperature, gas type, BB weight, hop-up adjustment, magazine condition, and local field requirements.

Key Features

• Standard 5.1 configuration: Full-size 5.1 Hi-Capa profile with a longer sight radius than compact 4.3 models and a distinctive competition-style look.
• Ported Dragon-style design: Aggressive slide cuts and porting create a lightweight, modern appearance.
• Gas blowback operation: Provides slide movement and recoil feedback during operation.
• Full-metal slide and frame: Delivers a substantial, realistic feel and durable external construction.
• Integrated Picatinny rail: Allows compatible tactical lights, lasers, and other airsoft accessories to be mounted.
• Adjustable hop-up: Helps users fine-tune BB trajectory for their selected ammunition and conditions.
• Hi-Capa platform: Uses a standard-style double-stack gas magazine and may support selected aftermarket Hi-Capa components, subject to exact fitment.
• Matte black finish: Complements tactical, competition, CQB, and collection-oriented setups.

Competition-Inspired Handling and Control

The 5.1 slide and full-length inner barrel provide a stable sighting platform in the standard Hi-Capa size class. This may help provide a consistent aiming reference, but actual accuracy and velocity depend on BB quality, hop-up adjustment, gas pressure, temperature, barrel condition, and the user’s shooting technique.

The ported slide design is intended to reduce the moving mass of the slide compared with a solid slide. The resulting cycling feel can vary between individual products and operating conditions. Always test the pistol with the intended gas and BB combination before field use.

Platform and Accessory Compatibility

The pistol is built around a Hi-Capa-style gas blowback architecture and may be compatible with selected Tokyo Marui-pattern Hi-Capa upgrade parts, replacement nozzles, hop-up components, and extended magazines. Compatibility is not universal and may require fitting or additional parts.

The lower Picatinny rail is designed for compatible airsoft accessories. Confirm the accessory’s dimensions, mounting interface, weight, and clearance before installation. Optics, lights, lasers, threaded components, and aftermarket slide parts may affect holster fitment, cycling, balance, or reliability.
