Frequently Asked Questions

What gas does the WE M9 BK use?

It runs on green gas, loaded into the included gas magazine. Green gas is the recommended power source for this pistol; keep the magazine seals lightly lubricated with silicone oil so they stay airtight.

Which spare magazines fit this pistol?

WE M9 / M92 series gas magazines fit, including the standard MG-92G magazines and the extended MG-92L long magazine we stock. Match the magazine to the gas system: CO2 magazines such as the MG-92C are built for the CO2 versions and are not a drop-in substitute for this green-gas model.

What is the FPS, and is it suitable for indoor CQB?

Approximately 280–300 FPS with 0.20g BBs (manufacturer specification). That sits under typical indoor field limits, so the M9 BK works as a CQB sidearm as well as an outdoor backup. Always confirm against your field's own chrono rules.

What BBs should I use?

Standard 6mm airsoft BBs. At this power level, 0.20g BBs are the baseline for chrono and general play, and 0.25g BBs are a good step up for steadier flight outdoors. Use polished, seamless BBs to protect the inner barrel and hop-up.

Is the hop-up adjustable?

Yes. The M9 BK has an adjustable hop-up, so you can dial in lift for your BB weight. Small adjustments make a visible difference — change it in steps and test between changes.

What is included in the box?

One WE-Tech M9 BK gas blowback pistol and one gas magazine. BBs and green gas are sold separately.
